Some years back, I was working on my own logo and corporate identity. I wanted to call my studio L2D, «Love 2 Design» and came up with a logo that combines these three letters in an elegant monogram. At first sight, the logo also looks like a capital D, which stands for my name, Diana.
The idea was that the «L» and «2» are integrated into the stem of the D. Then I thought, I don’t only love to design, but also Love2Tweet, Love2Question, Love2Laugh. In order to accommodate other “Love2” areas, I created the whole L2-Alphabet to keep my options open. These capital letters would fit very well within the corporate design structure and could be used for various purposes.
In the end, I did not use this logo or the name, but the idea remains and could be adapted to other names, too.
